Karam Bibi

No one knows what their destiny holds. Karam Bibi was only a visitor in New Zealand, but it was there that she became a martyr.

Karam Bibi, along with her husband, Ghulam Hussain, had arrived in New Zealand for a visit just a few weeks before March 15. The family was from Pakistan, and they had come to visit their son, Zeeshan Raza.

Zeeshan had moved to New Zealand several months ago and had only moved to Christchurch in December for work.

Tragically, Karam Bibi, her husband, and their son were all killed in the terrorist attack at the Linwood Masjid that day.

Karam Bibi is survived by a daughter in Pakistan, who said that her parents will be buried in New Zealand.
