Syed Jahandad Ali

Ali was a 34 year old husband to his wife Amna and father to two young girls (aged 4 and 2) and son (6 months). He was from Karachi, Pakistan but was working as a software engineer at Intergen in Christchurch. His CEO describes him as a deeply kind man who had touched the lives of many colleagues and friends through his skills and knowledge in the wider community.

On March 15th he was at the mosque ready to pray when the terrorist stormed in and started shooting. Ali was amongst those pronounced dead at the scene. He is known by classmates from Karachi for being a soft spoken caring person, as per some of the facebook posts.
